Jerald is a real estate investment and economic development professional from New York City. He previously served as assistant vice president in the real estate department at the NYC Economic Development Corporation, where he utilized his experience in finance, real estate, and urban planning to lead deal structuring for mixed-use projects comprising $2.3 billion in stabilized value. He is interested in how policy and business practices can create public benefit in the built and digital environments. He received his BS in urban and regional planning from Cornell University. Outside of work, Jerald is a freelance portrait and documentary photographer whose work showcases the beauty and vigor of Black life.
