Activist. Writer, Community and Non Profit Organizer, Memphis Native and Self Proclaimed Rebel. Jeneisha serves as the Free Community Food Program Lead Continuing Organizer + Founder, Barbara J. Harris Scholarship Fund Founder, The Girlfriends Book Club Co Curator and Organizers with The F.I.N.D. Design and Gideon’s Army. With two arrests and an unjustified warrant targeting her activism, the State of Tennessee has attempted to silence her voice and her work. Jeneisha perseveres every single time by continuing her work despite the local and state wide obstacles, feeding hundreds of children every summer with FCFP in Nashville, Memphis and St. Louis, her scholarship fund to assist students matriculating from her high school alma mater in honor of her late mother, empowering black women through literature and sisterhood through The Girlfriends Book Club and organizing communities with The F.I.N.D. Design and Gideon’s Army in Nashville, TN. From civil disobedience to mutual aid, Jeneisha is committed to all things community.
